Large amount of calories in fox nuts gives you energy and relieve stress caused by fasting and enhance your mood. It’s easy to prepare, ready in 10 minutes and has long shelf life. They can also be eaten as tea time snack even while you are not fasting. Without wasting time be ready with your kitchen tools and prepare these crunchy munchy goodies. So let’s start the recipe. Yum.
1 cup Fox nuts/Makhana
2 tablespoon clarified butter
Salt to taste (Sendha namak /Vrat ka namak)
A pinch red Chilli /black pepper powder
Method:
Melt clarified butter in a pan , add Foxnuts and roast on low to medium flame.
Stir frequently to evenly cook . Cook till light golden and crispy.
Remove from heat , sprinkle salt and Chilli/pepper powder.
Serve with tea.
