Enjoy these crispy pakoras with hot cuppa tea in this chilly weather .
Ingredients:
1 cup Cabbage , finely chopped
1/2 cup Gram flour/Besan
2 tablespoon Rice flour(Optional)
2 -3 Green chillies,finely chopped
Few coriander leaves , chopped
1/2 teaspoon Carom seeds/Aijwain
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/4 teaspoonTurmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder
1 teaspoon Cumin powder
1 teaspoon Amchur powder
1/4 teaspoon cooking soda
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Method:
Take chopped cabbage,coriander leaves,green chillies in a bowl .
Add the remaining ingredients except oil or frying . Mix well and add some (about 2-3 tablespoons )water to make the batter come together.
Heat oil in a wok for frying , Drop small portions of batter into hot oil and fry over medium flame until golden and crispy from both sides. Flip them in between to let them fry evenly.
Add few pakoras at a time to ensure even cooking.Drain the pakodas on a paper towel .
Serve them hot with Mint chutney and tamarind chutney or Tomato sauce .

Serve-2. Cooking time -25 minutes
Notes: You may prepare pakoras of any shape and size.
Always Drain on tissue to remove the extra oil . Do not add extra water as cabbage will also leave water if kept for long.
Add spices and salt as per your taste .
