Vegan Tofu Tikka Masala Pizza

Vegan tofu tikka masala pizza is the ultimate fusion of classic tofu tikka masala topped on vegan One planet Pizza.

How come vegan tofu tikka Pizza?

The folks at one planet pizza were kind enough to send me their vegan pizza base with vegan cheese toppings and asked me to create a recipe using them.

So that’s how this vegan tofu tikka masala recipe is created. I used extra firm tofu and marinated them in cashew cream with spices. The creamy and spicy tomato onion gravy added extra flavors to the pizza and I used it as a sauce for pizza as well.

Can it be made with Paneer?

Yes, it can be made with paneer tikka masala but then it won’t be vegan anymore. You can check my paneer butter naan pizza recipe to refer.

Is there any other vegan alternative?

Well of course tofu can be replaced with mushrooms, tempeh, and or jackfruit. Follow the recipe and use any other vegan alternative you like instead of tofu and enjoy the pizzas.

Frankly speaking, this vegan tofu tikka masala pizza is pure bliss for vegans who love pizza and missed enjoying it. Who says pizza isn’t for vegans? Not anymore!

This vegan tofu tikka masala pizza looks so tempting. I love how you’ve marinated and grilled tofu to add to the pizza as a topping and using a masala gravy instead of the normal tomato sauce. An interesting vegan treat.

  3. Wow! the pizza looks heavenly and I am sure the tofu tikka with all the tomato masala would have added so much zing and flavors to the recipe. Not a vegan though, but surely would love to try it.

I am big fan of Indian flavored pizza and look forward to eating the Paneer tikka pizza when I go to India. This is a lovey vegan option with tofu and I am dying to taste some.
