The spices carrot soup is a very hearty and filling one pot soup that would make a really delicious meal for cold winter nights.

At first, I was skeptical to try the soup as I was not sure about the taste but when I tried the soup my whole family loved it.

The fried ginger and ginger powder balances well with the sweetness of carrots and makes it more delicious. It’s Christmas eve and Holidays are going on with great enthusiasm.

Basic Ingredients for Spiced Carrot Soup:

  • Firstly, Carrots-Fresh or frozen carrots.
  • Ginger-Ginger powder and fresh ginger juliennes.
  • Veg stock-Stock or water is fine.
  • Spices-Minimal spices like salt, paprika and coriander powder.

How to make Spiced Carrot soup?

The soup is very simple to make. First, saute the carrots with spices and onions until soft. Blend using hand blender and cook for desired consistency.

Serve the soup with toasted bread, croutons or garlic bread.
