Rainbow Smoothie Bowl-A colorful and delicious smoothie made with different fruits and vegetables. Thia is the easiest, healthy and nutritious breakfast when you re in a hurry.
After posting six recipes from street food of India, this week to Explore the Flavors, I am going to post six breakfast recipes. There is no hard and fast rule for this theme, I am only going to post what we love to have in our breakfast.
A few months ago I was talking to my younger brother about how I am trying to gain weight as I have always been underweight. He has the similar physique like me and also troubles to gain weight but he did gain some pounds. So he told me to start your day with the smoothie and a bowl of sprouts and later on eat something protein and fat after every two hours throughout the day.
So I followed his idea and started to have smoothies and sprouts in my breakfast. I followed this regime for a month or so and got a tiny winy hike in my weight. Now every day whatever I am having for breakfast later in midday I start my day with two tall glasses of smoothie or sometimes make smoothie bowl and top with various nuts, seeds, and fruits.
Hopefully, if I would follow this habit I may get under normal weight as per my BMI. Fingers crossed for that day.
Anyway, whether you are gaining weight or losing, smoothies do make nice and filling breakfast when topped with various healthy dried fruits, nuts, and seeds.
Here is a sneak peek of what I posted under street food for the first week of the mega-marathon:
