After moving around the world , I am back to our country ,India. But what to choose ,here almost every dish is presented with a combo. It was very hard for me to choose one single combo .Then I remembered this classic combo from Pavani’s and I knew I had to make it.
As for Jalebi’s I wanted to make them since long ,but couldn’t get hold of the ingredients. This time I made those luscious Jalebis paired with mild yet exotic poha. My Jalebis were a little thick as I used a round piping bag instead of zip lock or ketchup bottle. But still what can be better than hot hot ,mouth watering Jalebis. So enjoy this marvelous combo from the streets of Indore.
Ingredients:
For Poha
2 cup thick poha/flattened rice
1 onion,chopped
2 green chilies,chopped
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
few curry leaves
1 teaspoon red chilly powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
salt to taste
few cilantro leaves ,chopped
2 tablespoon oil
To garnish
Namkeen/Dal sev
lemon wedges
pomegranate seeds

Add green chillies and onion.Stir and cook for 1-2 minute.
