This is my first post in the new year and I will be presenting Christmas holiday recipes for three days.For day 1of BM#48 , week 1 under Kids Delight Holiday Special theme I made Chocolate Oatmeal and Nuts Bites /Bars .
Well this year as we were away from family and friends our Christmas was a bit kind of different but we celebrated it with enthusiasm .We went to the Ireland’s famous Christmas Festival called Waterford Winterval 2014 and enjoyed the fun & exciting events there. One of my friend from Poland made these delicious bites and told me the recipe as well . This is one of their traditional family recipe for Christmas from many years.These are simple to make and so addictive that one can’t stop eating more.This would be a perfect and healthy snack for kids too.
So let’s start the recipe .yum
Ingredients:
500 gm Sweet condensed milk
125gm butter
1/4 cup walnuts,chopped
1/4 cup pecans, chopped
1/4 cup hazelnut ,chopped
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
2 cup porridge oats
1/4 cup cocoa powder
Method:
Melt butter in a pan and add condensed milk. Let it cook for 5 minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients and cook for 5-7 minutes more.
Spread desired amount in cupcake molds or arrange in a baking tray .
Let it set for 15 minutes .Serve and enjoy.
Serve-6. Prep time-15 minutes
