I have had this post pending in my drafts since long .I made it last year from Tarla Dalal’s Kebabs and Tikkis but forgot to post.This tikki recipe is so versatile and easy to assemble. Eat it up with some mint chutney or make a plate of tikki chaat.Either way you are going to love it.For this week CCChallenge , I am sending this post as my entry.So let’s start the recipe.yum
Ingredients:
4 potatoes,boiled & mashed
1/4 cup peas ,boiled
1 green chilli,chopped
Few coriander leaves,chopped
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 teaspoon chaat masala
salt to taste
oil for shallow frying
Method:
In a mixing bowl combine all ingredients except oil.Mix well.
Divide the mixture into 8 round balls.Heat oil in a pan .
Shape the balls into patties by pressing them in between palm .Shallow fry until golden from both sides.
Serve warm with green chutney or ketchup.
Enjoy!!
