A sweet and tangy raw mango curry or you can say it is like a chutney.It can be stored in refrigerator for several days.
Ingredients:
1 raw mango,chopped
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
a pinch aseftida
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
salt to taste
2 tablespoon oil
1/4 cup jaggery or sugar
Method:
Heat oil in a pan ,add aseftida fennel and cumin seeds.Let the seeds splutter.
Now add the chopped mango pieces.
Add salt ,turmeric ,red chilli powder and 1 cup of water.
Cook covered until mago is tender.
Finally add jaggery ,cook for few niutes more.
Remove from heat ,cool and store in refrigerator.
Serve-2 Cooking time-20 minutes

We too make raw mango curry but spicy version.
I am drooling over this am ki sabzi..it's so refreshing and we love it to the core.
Reminds me of our mango pachadi. Mango and fennel combo sounds interesting.
