Yemeni coffee is a famous beverage mostly served in all houses and is usually prepared with coffee husks. It is more like tea as the coffee husks are boiled in water along with other spices and later on strained and served.I have used regular coffee granules as I didn’t had coffee husks but the spices and ginger made this coffee very aromatic and flavorful.
Ingredients:
2 teaspoon Coffee granules / Husks
3 cup Water
2 teaspoon ginger,grated
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or 1 stick
1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
sugar to taste
Method:
Boil water in a pot .Add coffee granules ,ginger, cinnamon, caraway and sugar.
Boil for 10 minutes until the coffee turn golden brown.
Serve hot.
Enjoy!!
