few pistachios sliced

Instructions
Add saffron strands in 2 tablespoons of warm milk and set it aside.
Take a heat a heavy bottom pan and boil milk in it. Stir continuously with a slotted spatula. Add crushed cardamom in it.
Cook it slowly with frequent stirring till it starts a little bit thickening.Now add saffron milk, gulkand, almonds, and pistachios.
Add sugar to it and mix well. Remove from heat and cool it.
Serve chilled or warm.
Notes
Use the heavy bottom pan and stir continuously to avoid sticking the basundi on the pan.
