Papaya Ginger Smoothie

Papaya is a rich source of energy , fibers , antioxidants and Vitamin A. According to Ayurveda it has numerous medicinal properties. It is good for skin , helps in digestion of food , reduces the risks of heart attack , control pre mature ageing , or in short we can say that it boost our immune system. So I have made a breakfast smoothie from this fruit of life. Addition of a grape size ginger enhances its flavor and make this smoothie a sweet and rustic treat.Great start of a day with this healthy smoothie , a must try for all! So let’s start the recipe.yum

Papaya Ginger Smoothie

Ingredients:
2 cup papaya pieces
1 ginger, a small piece
2 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon lemon juice
6 ice cubes

Method:
Place all ingredients in blender and blend together to get a nice smoothie.

Pour in serving glass and enjoy.  Serve chilled.

Serve-2. Prep time -10 minutes
Note:Ginger gives it a bit pungent taste , you may add 1 tablespoon sugar.
You may reduce the quantity of ginger if you don’t like it’s flavor.
Addition of 2-3 mint leaves gives it a nice aroma.
