Mushroom Tahini Rice


Mushrooms have creamy texture and heavenly tasty flavor.It tastes awesome in curry,soup,salad and rice.
I tried to cook  mushrooms with Tahini paste and rice.Normally Tahini consists of ground paste of sesame seeds but i used sesame seeds with peanut and yoghurt.Believe me it changes  the regular rice taste into a nutty,creamy,delicious and unusual delicacy.So lets start with recipe.yum

Ingredients:
Button mushroom-200g
Rice-2 cup
Onion(sliced)-1 cup
Green chilly(chopped)-2 tsp
Ginger(chopped)-4tsp
Garlic(chopped)-4tsp
Cumin seeds-2tsp
Cinnamon stick-1
Black cardamom-1
Pepper corn-3
Cloves-2
Sesame seeds-2tbsp
Peanut seeds-4 tbsp
Yoghurt-1/2 cup
Lemon juice-1/2 cup
Vegetable oil-4 tbsp
Chopped coriander- a handful
Method:
Wash and soak rice I. 2 cup water or you can use pre cooked rice for the dish. Dry roast sesame and peanut seeds on nonstick pan and keep aside.
Heat oil in a cooker(if using uncooked rice) or in a pan (if using pre cooked rice). Add cinnamon ,cardamom,cloves and pepper corn,sauté and add cumin seeds.
After1 minute add garlic and ginger And green chillies.saute for 2-3 minutes.
Now add onions and fry for golden color.Meanwhile make a paste of roasted sesame seeds,peanut seeds with yoghurt.
Add all spices and salt,stir and add sesame – peanut paste.Saute and add mushrooms and rice.Mix well ,add 2 cup water and cook for one whistle.(stir and remove from heat if using precooked  rice).
Add lemon juice and garnish with chopped coriander and droasted sesame -peanut seeds.
Serve hot with pickle.
Serve-3.      Cooking time-20 minutes
