Matar Mushroom

Matar Mushroom,Today I am presenting a spicy and healthy gravy of mushroom in combination with peas. It can be made easily when you have less time to cook on sudden arrival of guests. I must say this delicious recipe will make you say wow.The creamy texture of mushrooms with sweet taste of peas makes it a perfect delicacy.

Here is step wise recipe for matar mushroom.Enjoy this delicious curry with seasoned fresh peas and mushrooms .

Ingredients:
2 cup peas
1 onion,finely chopped
1 teaspoon ginger,finely chopped
4-5 garlic cloves,finely chopped
2 tomatoes,finely chopped
2-3 green chillies,chopped
2 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon red chilly powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
salt to taste
few coriander leaves,chopped

Method:
Heat oil in a skillet,add chopped onion , garlic and ginger
Sauté only for 5 minutes.Just let it transparent(or can say let it kacha pakka).
Add all spices and salt.Mix well
Add chopped chillies and tomatoes. Sauté and add peas.
Mix well ,and let it cook with closed lid on low flame till peas are tender and oil comes out.(it will take 10 to 15 minutes wit frequent stirring).
Now open the lid and add diced mushrooms.

Cook till water from mushrooms evaporates and oil comes out from sides of pan.

Serve hot with Bread,Rice or Chapati

Serve-4. Cooking time-30 minutes
