Bael , an ancient Ayurvedic tree , commonly known as Wood apple or Stone apple. It has a green woody texture from outside with a yellow pulpy fruit inside and consist of mucilaginous seeds. Bael tree is sacred for Hindus and its leaves are important offering to Lord Shiva, the trifoliate leaves signifies the three eyes of Lord Shiva. Besides sacred space it’s also have certain medicinal properties , helps in gastrointestinal problems, constipation and digestive disorders.A rich source of minerals , fiber and vitamins makes it a valuable fruit and treated as natural laxative. I still remember in my childhood ,We were having farms of Bael and our store room was filled with ripe Bael fruit in the seasons. That time was memorable !!! This juice I often made in the months of April to July , to beat summers and refresh ourselves. So let’s start the recipe .yum
