Aloo Gobi Matar Dry Curry

This is a simple Aloo gobi matar sabzi they I have learned from my mother and making it from many years. A simple yet delicious side dish for lunch or dinner . I am sending this recipe to +srivalli jetti  CCChallenge for June’s first week .So let’s start the recipe. Yum

Ingredients:
1 cup cauliflower florets
1/2 cup peas
3 medium sized potatoes , cubed
1 onion, chopped
1 teaspoon ginger , grated
3-4 green chillies , chopped
2 tomatoes , chopped
A pinch asefetida
1 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves /kasuri methi
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red Chilli powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
Salt to taste
3 tablespoon oil

Method:
Heat oil in a pan , add Asefetida , cumin seeds and kasuri methi. Sauté and add ginger and onion . Cook till translucent.
Add potatoes , cauliflower florets and peas . Cover the lid and cook for few minutes.
Open the lid , stir and add spices and salt. Add tomatoes and green chillies from the side of pan . Cover and cook again till water from tomatoes evaporates and oil comes out from edges.

Add chopped coriander and serve hot with chapati.

Serve-4. Cooking time-25 minutes
