Seviyan

Ingredients:

Vermicelli-1 cup
Milk-3 cup
Sugar-1/4 cup
Chopped almonds-few
Raisins- few
Green Cardamom (crushed)-2

Method:
In a non stick pan , dry roast vermicelli on low heat for 5 minutes.

Boil milk in a vessel , add crushed cardamom and roasted vermicelli in it.

Let it cook for 5 minutes till vermicelli are tender.

Add sugar and stir for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and add chopped nuts.
Serve hot or chilled.

  1. i always wanted to try something like this but dairy doesn't like me so could i make this with coconut or almond milk (or any other non-dairy milk)?
