soda water

a pinch nutmeg powder
oil for deep frying
For cinnamon sugar

Instructions
Heat oil in a saucepan and keep it on medium-low.
In a mixing bowl, add flour,baking soda sugar, and nutmeg. Stir in milk, water, and soda water.
Mix well until everything is incorporated.
Scoop a few balls in oil with the help of a spoon or use your hands.
Fry for few minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Flip them and fry from the other side.
Drain on paper towel. Roll in cinnamon sugar and serve warm.

Instead of all-purpose flour and soda you may use a cup of self-raising flour.
The
original recipe
used beer but I have adapted the recipe to use soda water.
You may also make them with baking powder or yeast.
