black loose tea/2 black tea bags

" ginger piece
grated or pounded

cardamom
crushed

teaspoon
fennel seeds

milk

water
sugar to taste
Instructions
In a saucepan add water and bring it to boil.
Once the water starts boiling add tea, grated ginger, crushed cardamom, and fennel seeds.
Keep boiling for a minute and add milk. and sugar.
Now bring the heat on low and let it boil again.
When the tea starts boiling again, switch coof the heat.
Sieve the tea in teapot or cups.
Serve and enjoy.
Notes
Addition of spces is optional, you may simply make thechai with milk, sugar and tea without spices.
After adding the milk let it simmer and slowly boil so that milk can blend well in tea.
Add the tea only after the water is boiled.
