Heat oil in a pan, add asafetida and cumin seeds, let the seeds splutter. Add ginger, green chilly and saute for a minute.
Stir and add cabbage and peas. Mix well and let it cook for a few minutes, covered with a lid on low heat.
Add all spices and salt, stir and add tomatoes in the center, cover with cabbage and cook for 5 minutes till water of tomatoes evaporates and oil comes out.
Garnish with garam masala and chopped coriander. Serve with rice or roti.
Notes
You may use any oil of your choice instead of olive oil.
Add green chillies as per your taste.
This sabzi can be made in pressure cooker as well, cook for one whistle and let the pressure releases.
