pav bhaji masala

teaspoon
red chili powder
salt to taste

fresh coriander leaves
chopped

tablespoon
lemon juice
1/2
cup
butter + 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
water as required
Instructions
Heat butter and oil in wide pan or wok or large skillet. Add cumin seeds and cook for 1 minute.
Add grated ginger, garlic and chopped onion, green chilies and sauté till lightly browned.
Add chopped vegetables, salt, and tomatoes.
Add 1/2 cup of water and cook on low to medium heat till veggies are slightly tender. Frequent stirring is required.
Add turmeric powder, pav bhaji masala, and red chili powder. Mix and cook for two to three minutes.
Add the rice and give a nice stir. Add coriander leaves and lemon juice and mix well. Cook on high heat for a couple of minutes.
Remove from heat and serve warm garnished with coriander leaves
Notes
You can use your choice of vegetables like cabbage, green beans, peppers etc.
Recently, I started making the recipe from
Ranveer Brar's
, and it's turning out even more delicious.
For that, you just add a paste of garli and red chillis in the recipe.
Adjust the spices as per your taste.
