Ingredients

basmati rice

whole milk

tablespoon
honey
few saffron strands
2
tablespoon
rose syrup
2
tablespoon
nuts,
chopped

falooda noodles,
cooked (homemade or store bought)
Instructions
Wash and soak basmati rice in enough water for about 3-4 hours or until overnight.
Coarsely grind the soaked rice in the coffee grinder for a minute.
In a heavy bottom, pan add milk and ground rice and let it boil on simmer.
Stir occasionally, add saffron and let the phrini cook for 10-15 minutes or until it starts thickening.
Once you get the desired thickness of the phirni add honey or your choice of sweetener and remove from heat.
Let the phirni cool completely in the refrigerator.
Into the serving, glasses add falooda noodles, rose syrup, and phirni and repeat alternate layers . Top with chopped nuts.
Serve chilled and enjoy.
Notes
For best results chill the phrirni and falooda noodles before assembling.
Add your favorite nuts and dried fruits.
