Poha Ladoo is sweet balls made with flattened rice and jaggery. It tastes amazing and a popular Maharashtrian sweet made during festivals.

Ingredients

poha/flatened rice,
thick
1
cup
jaggery,
grated
1/4
cup
nuts and raisins
4
tablespoon
ghee/clarified butter
1/4
teaspoon
cardamom powder
2
tablespoon
milk,
optional
To decorate
1
tablespoon
dessicated coconut,
optional
Instructions
Heat a heavy bottom pan or wok and dry roast poha for few minutes or until crispy.
Heat a tablespoon ghee in a pan and fry the nuts and raisins Keep aside.
Cool the poha in a bowl. In a blender or food processor grind poha with jaggery into a fine powder.
Transfer the poha mixture into a bowl. Add in cardamom powder, fried nuts and remaining ghee. Mix well.
If the mixture seems dry add milk. Make small lemon sized round balls from the mixture. Place the ladoo on a plate and sprinkle coconut.
Store in air tight container. Serve and enjoy.
Notes
Add your favourite dried nuts and fruits to make the ladoo more healthy.
