Spiced cranberry sauce is a delicious and amazing sauce that pairs really well with any dish. This cranberry sauce is a must try during winters especially around Christmas as it is so fective and will make your Christmas dinner more fabulous.
Cranberry Sauce
Cranberry sauce is a sauce made with fresh or frozen cranberries and serbed during Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. This sauc eis super easy to make and beeds only 5 ingredients.
In the recipe I have used cinnamon and allspice to kick the sauce a bit but this is purely optional. you canmake this sauce without any flavorings or your choice of flavors.
Ingredients Needed for Spiced Cranberry Sauce
- Cranberry: Fresh, dried or frozen cranberries.
- Spices: Cinnamon and all spice powder.
- Sugar: Granulated white sugar or brown sugar can also work well in the recipe.
How to make Cranberry Sauce
In a saucepan add cranberries, apple cider, cinnamon, allspice, and sugar. Bring to boil and then simmer to cook for 20 to 25 minutes on simmer until syrupy or saucy. Cool and store in the refrigerator.
Serving Suggestions
Serve the cranberry sauce with corn bread, smear on toast or serve as a topping for desserts.
