Shankarpali | Maharastrian Sweet Snacks

Crispy deep fried sweet snacks Shankarpali made with all purpose flour and sugar. These snacks are a popular treat on Ganesh Chaturthi in Maharashtrian cuisine.

Shankarpali is similar to our Shakarpare and is a perfect sweet snack to munch on it tea or as it is. You know it seems amazing when we look in different cuisines in India or all over the world and how there is so much similarity yet diversity even within few miles.

The deeply fried shankarpali tastes so delicious and they were all gone in one day. My girls totally loved these bite snacks and next time I am going to make them in a big batch.
