Garlic Chutney | South Indian Style Garlic Chutney Recipe

The South Indian Style Garlic chutney is a very spicy and super delicious roasted garlic chutney which is perfect for dosa, upma, or even rice.

Whenever I make South Indian Upma, Dosa, Uttapam or any other snack there has to be a South Indian STyle Chutney. I mean, I can’t or should I say won’t serve the SI dishes with our North style mint or some other chutney. I mean I know it wouldn’t taste as good as with them.

That being said, the chutney tastes AMAZING, it literally would make you go gaga over. I served the chutney with quick semolina dosa and we all loved it. I haven’t ever thought that garlic would taste so tempting in chutney. The recipe is adapted from FoodViva and is definitely a keeper recipe if you like garlic.

Here are some more South Indian Chutney recipes:

  1. When ever we go to Sagar Ratna, the first thing I do is to attack on their chutneys. Though, loving chutneys so much, yet I haven’t made garlic chutney so far. Bookmarking your recipe to make it this weekend with dosa 🙂
