Coconut Malai Ladoo-A melt in mouth kind ladoo made with coconut and cream with a hint of saffron and cardamom. This ladoo are just perfect for after meals sweet indulgence.
After three weeks of Street food, Breakfast and Lunchbox recipes, for the last week(can’t believe we are in the last week) I am going to share Indian Sweets recipes.
This coconut malai ladoo recipe is so simple and tastes just amazing for the after or anytime sweet cravings. As you all know I have stopped using refined sugar so I try to use alternatives or just minimal amount of sugar in my sweets.
All the recipes I am going to past have been made over a course of last six month on the occasion of some festival or celebration only.
I always keep a big pack of desiccated coconut in my pantry as I love using it in baked goodies or Indian sweets, there is something in the aroma of coconut that I just love to the core.
You may try the ladoo with fresh coconut but I am yet to explore that as I am too lazy to grate the coconut.
The best part is these ladoos makes a wonderful edible gift for any festival or get together. I often bring homemade sweets or bakery items whenever I visit any of my friend’s house. These ladoo makes an easy and tasty edible gift.
I mean you can always buy anything store bought but there is something special when you cook with your hands and present to someone, it is much more appreciated and shows your affection too.
