So let’s start the recipe . Yum
Ingredients:
2 Medium sized capsicum
For spice powder:
1 teaspoon Fenugreek seeds
2 teaspoon Coriander seeds
1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
1 Cinnamon
4 Cloves
3-4 Dry red chillies
1/4 cup Desiccated coconut
1 tablespoon Chana dal
2 teaspoon Urad dal
A pinch of Asefetida
1 teaspoon oil
For tempering:
2 tablespoon Oil
1 teaspoon Urad dal
1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
1 teaspoon Amchur powder
Salt to taste
Method:
Wash and Cut the capsicum into small pieces.
Heat oil in a pan and dry roast all the spices for the powder.Cool and grind the spices in food grinder . Set the spice powder aside.
Heat 2 tablespoon of oil in a pan and add urad dal , mustard seeds , in it. Stir and add turmeric powder , Amchur powder and salt .
Add capsicum and cook for 5-7 minutes.Now add the spice powder and mix well till everything is combined.
Cook for 2 minutes more. Remove from heat and serve hot with chapati or rice. Or else serve it as it is.
