The crispy and flaky baatis perfect to serve with some hot dal and churma.
Ingredients:
1 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup beasn/gramflour
2 tablespoon semolina/suzi
1/2 cup milk
3 tablespoon ghee
1 teaspoon fennel seeds/saunf
1 teaspoon carom seeds/aijwain
salt to taste
2 tablespoon ghee
Method:
In a mixing bowl add all flours,stir and add 3 tbsp ghee,milk ,salt,fennel and carom seeds.
Mix well and knead a stiff dough.Keep covered for few minutes.
Prreheat oven at 190 degrees and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Make 8-10 round balls from the dough.
Flatten the dough in palms and make an indentation in the center.
Top the centers of baatis with ghee and bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden in color.
Serve hot drizzled with ghee, with Daal and Churma.

I like this version, where you have made flat baatis instead of those round ones…and beautifully clicked, I can see the fennel and ajwain in them. Beautifully done.
