A healthy, sweet and very delicious Middle eastern inspired sweet couscous with apple, cinnamon and chia seeds.
Warm one cup of water and soak the chopped dates in it for about 15 minutes.
Once soaked blend it in a mixer to make a smooth paste.
Heat olive oil in a saucepan and add date paste, Chia Apple Cinnamon, and remaining water. Let it boil for a minute.
Remove from heat and add couscous into the prepared water mixture.
Cover the lid and let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Stir the couscous with a fork and divide into serving bowls.
Drizzle maple syrup on top if desired. Serve warm topped with apple, raisins and almonds.
You may also add orange blossom water for extra flavours.
