Wash, destone and cut the plums into small pieces.
In a heavy bottom, pan adds the plums, brown sugar and cinnamon stick.
Cook on simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes. Once the plum starts softening mash with the back of spoon or spatula and cook again for 20 minutes more.
Cook until it starts thickening into desired thickness. Remove the cinnamon stick.
Cool the jam and store in properly sterilised glass jars.
Serve and enjoy.
Notes
The jam stays fresh for 2-3 weeks if stored in properly sterilised jars.
You may blend the jam using the hand blender or pass it through the strainer if looking for store-bought like jam consistency.
