French Toast ~Eggless

For the second day of cooking from E-N breakfast series I prepared French toast with alphabet “F” but again it has to be eggless . French toast, also known as eggy bread is a dish of bread soaked in beaten eggs and then fried.

When French toast is served as a sweet dish, milk, sugar, vanilla or cinnamon are also commonly added before pan-frying, and then it may be topped with sugar , butter, fruit, or syrup.I served it with honey and fruits and we all loved it. So let’s start the recipe .yum

Ingredients:
4 slice sandwich Bread
1/2 cup Milk
A drop of Vanilla essence
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 tablespoon butter or as required
1/2 tablespoon Custard Powder or corn starch

Method:
Take a tablespoon of milk and add custard powder in it.
Add remaining milk in a pan and boil it . Now combine the warm milk with custard powder dissolved milk .
Add sugar and mix well till it is dissolved fully and a slightly thick batter formed.
Heat a non stick an or tawa, spread butter over it. Dip the bread slice from both sides in the batter and place the on the pan.
Let it toasted well and then flip it to other side and cook .

Remove from pan and serve with topping of your choice or serve as it is .

Serve-2. Cooking time-15 minutes
