Individual Serving Chocolate Lava Cake
The chocolate lava cake is easy to bake and need few ingredients only.The only thing matters most is using a good quality chocolate and bake it for adequate time.I mean do not bake the cake more or less.Touch the center of the cake with finger and it should be puffy and firm and should feel the soft center inside.
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup powdered sugar
200 gm semisweet chocolate,chopped
1 stick/8 tablespoon unsalted butter,chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 can evaporated milk
Preheat oven to 425 F. Grease 6 to 8(4 ounce) ramekins or mini cake pans with oil or butter.
In a microwave safe bowl add chopped chocolate and butter.Microwave on high for 1 minute.Remove from microwave and stir until chocolate and butter completely melts.
Add sifted flour,sugar,baking powder and baking soda.
Now add vanilla extract and evaporated milk.Whisk until combined.
Pour in the prepared ramekins.Bake in preheated oven for 12 to 14 minutes or until top is puffy and firm and the center is soft.
Remove from oven ,run a knife along the edges of ramekins.Invert them in serving plates.Dust with cocoa or powdered sugar.
Serve warm with fresh strawberries or whipped cream.
