Haryanvi Thali

After relishing Rajasthani Dal Baati Churma now we have moved towards Haryana ,the land of farms ,milk ,roti and cattles. The cuisine is not as much famous compared to the neighboring states like Punjab but still Haryanvi food is best known for its simplicity and freshness.

Haryana is known  as the land of rotis either made up of Bajra, Jowar ,Besan or Wheat ,people there love hot rotis smeared with butter or ghee and they can eat the rotis as such only with green chilly and salt.

The state is wealthy in cattle and hence there is plenty of milk ,Haryana is the land of milk and milk based products.Buttermilk and Lassi are the famous drinks.Home made butter or called as Nooni ghee that is freshly churned from buttermilk on a daily basis is the must. They love to eat with this soft and tasty white butter with Khand  Boora.

I made a very simple and easy thali from the state and we all loved it.
