Hummus and Pita Bread

We are in the next edition of Blogging Marathon that is also happened to be a month long mega marathon and will be known as ” Buffet on Table“.As you all must be knowing that BM is the creation of +Srivalli Jetti ,joined by a group of enthusiastic foodie bloggers ,who love to cook , eat and share the recipes here.

As usual, we all were provided ( after a lot of discussion) with a bunch of themes for the month .The first week ,we will be showcasing Combination recipes around the world. What? You didn’t get it? I mean ,You know like Burger and fries ,Cookies and milk. The dishes which always have one or more partner to be served with.

So here goes the search exploration .What should I cook for the first week ?? Thinking and thinking and exploring. While the mind game was going on at it’s peak .One thing I knew for sure that all the dishes would be simple , means that doesn’t needs lots of efforts .Yeah I am the one biggest lazy girl when it comes to cook food for Mega BM .I don’t know why this unwillingness happens only at the time of the mega ones .However, we were given the themes about six months before. Now you can guess the lack of work shyness present in me.

Ok let’s get move to the recipe or else it would become an essay on my laziness.

So the first world famous combo I am presenting is Hummus a dip from the Middle East with Pita Bread wedges or chips.I wanted to make it from scratch , so followed the recipe starting with the basic home made tahini paste that I posted few days earlier.

Hummus is the most famous dip that is temptingly delicious and full of nutrients as well.So it is like killing two birds with one stone.
I don’t know the taste of store bought Hummus , because we never bought that ,but this freshly prepared home made hummus was full of flavors and good smell.
