Paneer ki Poori | How To Make Paneer Stuffed Pooris

Yesterday I had some paneer leftover after making Matar Paneer in my fridge.I wanted to make something quick for breakfast as I was starving .So quickly I made crumbled paneer stuffing and these delicious hot pooris for our breakfast.These pooris were so tasty and aromatic that we didn’t used any side dish with them .So let’s start the recipe .yum

1 cup wheat flour
1 teaspoon oil
Water as required

For stuffing:
1/2 cup paneer crumbled
1 green Chilli,chopped
Few coriander leaves,chopped
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
Salt to taste

Oil for frying

Knead a firm dough using water and oil.Keep it covered till use.
Mix all the ingredients for stuffing until well combined.
Divide the dough into 12 equal portions .
Bring together all the sides in the centre and seal tightly.
Roll again into 4 inch diameter circle using a little flour for rolling.
Heat the oil in a deep Kadahi and deep fry the Pooris one at a time till golden brown in color from both the sides.

Drain on kitchen paper and serve hot.


Serve -3. Cooking time-15 minutes

  3. Wow, they look very tempting 🙂 They look very similar to a dish called, 'dhapatya' we prepare at home, except that filling of paneer is replaced by rice flour dough
