Enjoy these delicious and scrumptious Badam Ladoo , this Diwali and surprise your guests. You may prepare Fudge or Barfi from it as well. So let’s start the recipe . Yum
1/2 cup Almond
1/4 cup milk
3/4 cup sugar
Few threads of Saffron
1 -2 cardamom , crushed
1 tablespoon clarified butter
Soak saffron strands in 1/2 tablespoon warm milk and set aside.
Soak the almonds in very hot water for 20 minutes or in cold water overnight.
Remove the skin and grind it into a smooth paste by adding 1 tablespoon milk or as required .
Grease a pan or plate with little butter and set aside.
Take this almond paste, sugar , cardamom and 1 tablespoon of clarified butter.
Stir in this badam sugar mixture in a medium low flame.
Add saffron milk initial and Stir well till it becomes a thick and starts leaving the sides of the pan.
Transfer this to the greased plate and when this becomes warm cut it into pieces or make round balls or ladoos of it.
Serve and enjoy.
